Job Summary:
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Financial/Accounting Analyst will be responsible for accurate and efficient maintenance of the company’s financial records and providing financial analysis to the leadership team in making key management decisions. The ideal candidate will work with the accounting department in seeking to continually improve and automate systems, software applications, processes and procedures to achieve greater efficiency and accuracy in executing transactions.
Duties / Responsibilities:
Provide accounting and financial analysis of company sales channels such as Amazon, Ebay and Reverb;
Drive automation and optimization of accounting transactions and other company processes to achieve continuous improvement;
Assist in budget and forecast preparation and analysis;
Prepare monthly P&L and other financial reports;
Prepare ROI analysis, particularly involving new product and capital evaluations;
Process and document journal entries into the company ERP system, Made 2 Manage (M2M), including month/year-end closing entries and analysis;
Perform monthly account reconciliations and analysis;
Develop cost accounting standards and support CFO and Operations Manager through variance and trend analysis;
Perform cashflow monitoring activities and analysis;
Champion effective and efficient use of the M2M ERP system and other related software applications;
Generate ad-hoc reports and other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Accounting or related discipline;
1 – 3 years of relevant experience; will consider recent college graduates;
Proficiency with the MS Office suite of products, Sharepoint and Teams;
Experience working with an integrated ERP system and database/business analytics, a plus;
Ability to learn new software applications easily;
Experience working within a manufacturing environment, preferred;
Cost accounting experience, a plus (will train);
Astute oral and written communication and interpersonal skills;
English/Spanish bilingual, a plus;
Ability to work effectively independently and effectively within a team environment.
Compensation:
$65,000 - $90,000 DOE annual base salary
