Job Summary:
Reporting to the Associate Director of Artist Relations/Product Marketing, the Marketing and Artist Relations Coordinator will manage the daily artist and influencer orders, coordinate content and logistics and maintain our CRM database. The ideal candidate will drive marketing initiatives through participation in planning, research, content creation, reporting and assisting with event and tradeshow coordination.
Duties / Responsibilities:
Artist Relations Support:
Coordinate and respond to daily e-mail and phone inquiries for the Artist Relations department;
Manage CRM database for all artists / influencers and maintain current and organized data;
Coordinate promotional orders, product samples and physical marketing assets/supplies;
Consult with Customer Service, Engineering and Custom Shop teams in making product recommendations to artists and influencers;
Assist in coordinating artist planning, schedules, engagements, video/photo shoots and events;
Assist in managing contracts for endorsed artists, artist ambassadors and signature artists;
Manage and execute new artist, influencer, reviewer gifts and promotions;
Ensure the company website’s artist page current and includes assets and relevant information;
Assist with reviewing new artists; applications;
Assist with coordinating content assets and timely transfer to social media team;
Ability to travel 10-15% of the time to trade shows, artist visits and concerts.
Marketing Support:
Coordinate and monitor marketing campaigns with project management tools;
Create and manage direct to consumer and business to business communications;
Assist in creating marketing briefs and campaign planning;
Collect and report on key metrics for marketing performance, artist relations activities and other projects;
Conduct research on trends, competitors and the music industry, to inform strategies and campaigns;
Assist in generating content (written, visual, etc.) for social media, website and other marketing channels;
Assist with onsite photography / videography.
Miscellaneous:
Coordinate and execute logistics for events and tradeshows, including guitar gear organization and maintenance;
Assist with coordinating new product alpha/beta testing;
Assist with various other marketing departmental projects/initiatives, as directed.
Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience in a related marketing, advertising, administrator and/or events role;
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related discipline;
Proficiency with the MS Office suite of products, including Teams;
Experience with Share Point, Asana, WordPress, Zendesk, AI platforms and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Premiere), a plus:
Exceptional oral and written communication and interpersonal skills;
Astute time management, attention to detail, organizational, planning, effective multi-tasking, problem-solving, follow-through, customer service skills and ability to work to tight deadlines;
Guitar player, a plus, with a passion for music, guitars and guitar-related equipment;
Experience with photography and video skills, a plus;
Holder of valid CA driver’s license, with a clean and insurable driving record;
Ability to work effectively alone and within a collaborative team environment.
Compensation:
$28.00 - $35.00 per hour DOE, for this full-time, non-exempt position.
