Outside Sales Representative - Remote - Metal Fabrication Company
Must reside within a commutable distance to the Houston area to focus on the targeted client base in that geography.
Domestic / international industrial equipment manufacturer that designs and fabricates highly corrosion-resistant process equipment for any industry that has corrosion problems.
Reporting to the V.P. of Sales & Marketing, the Outside Sales Representative will manage our existing sales pipeline and develop new business leads and opportunities. The ideal candidate will take the lead, use initiative, broaden our footprint and continue to build our brand.
Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, lead and facilitate pitch logistics;
Manage existing sales pipeline and develop new business opportunities;
Assume lead role in the development of proposals and presentations for new business materials to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships;
Identify trends and customer needs, while building a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with sales targets;
Develop strategies and positions by analyzing new venture integration;
Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies and delegate tasks that achieve targeted goals;
Monitor and evaluate industry trends, customer drivers and meet regularly with management to discuss strategy;
Manage proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements, content creation and input from various sources;
Develop and implement outbound sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure and best practices across the company;
Support deal structure and pricing with business value analysis; negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals;
Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events and presentations.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or Management, preferred;
Proven and successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation;
Manufacturing experience a plus;
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills;
Proficient attention to detail, organizational and time management skills;
Proficiency with sales-related CRM software applications such as ACT CRM;
Proficiency with EPICOR a plus;
Proven ability to plan and manage resources.
$78,000 – $98,000 annual base salary DOE, plus commission.
