Project Coordinator - Water Well Drilling Company - Will Train
Pacific Coast Well Drilling has earned significant recognition in the California groundwater development industry, specializing in providing deep-well turnkey drilling solutions for municipal, agricultural and large-scale commercial projects. In addition, its vertically integrated pump division, Precision Hydro, offers a complete range of high-quality pump services, including system design, new installation, as well as complete monitoring and maintenance programs.
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Coordinator will provide support within business development, project management and project administrative duties. The Project Coordinator is responsible for ensuring all necessary administrative project requirements, from project inception to completion, are executed accurately and completely, that job planning requirements of each project are clearly defined and communicated to achieve maximum job efficiency and product excellence and will track and report key sales and project metrics. We will train for this role for the right person.
Responsible for all project related administrative tasks, including, but not limited to, processing job setup requirements, preparing project plans, processing purchase requests, managing hotel stays for field crews and job completion details;
Maintain and refine electronic files system and standard document format;
Gather technical and other necessary project set-up information from customers;
Maintain Production Schedule;
Review project specifications for bidding and project execution;
Request vendor and sub-contractor quotes; issue purchase orders; process invoices for project billing;
Manage hotel reservations for all field crews;
Assist with developing and Maintaining project documentation;
Support Project Manager with managing and scheduling sub-contractors;
Prepare project documentation and submittals;
Support Project Manager and Senior Drilling manager with hiring of field crew members;
Prepare project closeout reports and customer packets;
Assist with development and implementation of workflow systems and processes.
High School Diploma; Associate’s Degree, preferred;
At least 4 years of administrative experience in construction or similar industry, which may be substituted with equivalent years of education;
At least 1 year of data analysis experience;
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products, particularly Excel;
Proficient organizational, time management and attention to detail skills;
Astute oral and written communication and interpersonal skills;
Ability to work alone and within a team in a collaborative effort and within a fast-paced environment;
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
7:00AM – 4:30PM Monday through Friday
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour DOE for this non-exempt, full-time position.
Medical; dental; vision; 401(k)/ROTH retirement plan, with employer match up to 4% annually; 10 days paid vacation within the 1st year and rising thereafter incrementally; standard California 24 hours annually paid sick time.
