Banking - Member Services Representative ll - Credit Union

Located on the beautiful California coast, Santa Cruz Community Credit Union (SCCCU) is a community-development and low-income certified credit union, serving Santa Cruz County and parts of Monterey County. Its mission focuses on economic justice and ensuring that all people, organizations and companies have access to the financial services and financial tools they need.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Member Service Representative ll (MSR ll), assist members with their financial transactions, balance ATM transactions and provide support with opening and closing accounts.
Responsibilities / Duties:
Deliver outstanding service to credit union members, the internal team, and the community; Represent the credit union in a professional manner at all times;
Receive and process member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals and loan payments; sell money orders and travelers checks to members; transfer amounts from member accounts, as directed;
Balance transaction totals for each assigned ATM, according to established department standards and regulations;
Post transactions to member accounts and maintain member records;
Welcome members and provide routine information concerning services; direct members to appropriate department for specific information and service;
Balance cash drawer and daily transactions;
Cross-sell credit union services;
Assist members with opening and closing accounts, answering questions about products and services and resolve problems that are within his/her authority to resolve;
Other duties as assigned.
At least 6 months to 2 years of related experience in a similar role;
High school diploma or GED;
Bilingual English / Spanish proficiency required;
Proficient MS Office, related software, 10-key calculator, fax, photocopier and multi-line phone skills;
Exceptional customer service skills;
Proficient oral, written and interpersonal skills;
Astute attention to detail, organizational and time management skills;
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
$16.38 - $20.47 per hour, DOE, for this non-exempt, full-time position;
$1,000 sign-on bonus paid at 6 months of service.

8:30AM – 5:15PM Monday – Friday
9:15AM – 1:45PM Saturday
