Job Summary:

Reporting to the Executive Management team, the Business Development Specialist will sell to, or within Human Resources or Benefits groups target within companies. Parent Benefits was started to sell unique family-friendly benefits into companies as an additional medium to hire and retain employees.  Parent Benefits which was developed by Aspatore Family Companies, which owns WonderDads and Parentfile, as there was interest in both products and as a means to sell a myriad of family-friendly benefits. We are seeking someone to join us in the launch of this new company who will receive support and mentorship from the senior management team at Aspatore. Candidate needs to be a self-starter who loves prospecting, sales and business development and is excited by the opportunity to help launch a new company and grow it into something special.  In living our brand, we implement 'Family Time Wednesdays" from 3:00PM - 5:00PM, in closing the company and spending time with our families. 

Duties / Responsibilities: 

Engage in outreach to HR / benefit professionals and partners using various methods to include target lists, mass mailings, social media marketing, networking, scheduling group / events; cold-calling, etc.;

Identify ideal companies to target to offer Parent Benefits and WonderDads as an employee perk; 

Identify alternative ways to introduce and offer our products to companies such as benefits brokers, through employee loyalty programs, within youth organizations;

Experience navigating large companies to find the target decision-maker in managing the process of introducing and implementing Parent Benefits thereto; 

Create alternative ways to reach Moms and Dads at companies such as affiliate programs, company monthly outings for parents, etc.; 

Experience navigating large companies to identify the right decision maker and manage the process of connecting with those decision makers in considering Parentfile and WonderDads; 

Comfortable creating own documents and materials when needed for presentations or for a particular lead; 

Effective at follow-through in closing deals and finding alternative methods in doing so; 

Maintain a structured list of daily activities and weekly progress leading to a healthy pipeline and revenue generation on a monthly basis; 

Maintain and build upon established pipeline of business on a regular basis; 

Ability to meet and exceed goals to achieve objectives; 

Communicate with management team on weekly progress and prospective revenue projections. 

Qualifications: 

3 – 5 years of proven business development entrepreneurial, outside sales, or comparable experience;

Experience with revenue-based business development goals and achieving those objectives;

Astute written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills;

Exceptional time management, organizational, attention to detail, follow-through and multi-tasking skills;

Proficient computer based skills;

Self-starter, ability to work remotely effectively and results-driven. 

Compensation: 

$70K - $90K base salary DOE for this full-time exempt position, plus generous commission tied to revenue generated.
