Job Summary: 

Reporting to the Warehouse Lead, the Warehouse Clerk is responsible for the shipping, receiving, stocking and inspection functions of the company. 

Duties / Responsibilities: 

Inspect incoming material for conformance to blueprints, engineering drawings, or product specifications, using various measuring devices;

Examine, measure and test incoming material for cosmetic defects, structural flaws, correct dimensions and electrical characteristics, using gauges, templates, micrometers, calipers and first articles;

Pull, pack, seal and ship company products, in accordance with company practices, or customer requirements;

Verify item number, quantity and ship-to address are correct;

Perform basic inspections and continue learning more complex incoming inspections;

Receive incoming shipments and report discrepancies;

Verify correctness of incoming shipments (quantity and/or quality/part number);

Checks for inventory shortages;

Report, reject and prepare paperwork associated with returned or damaged items;

Route material to proper departments;

Maintain records and files, input data into computer system /ERP (Made2Manage M2M);

Interface with Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Production and Sales departments;

Maintain stock in neat and orderly arrangement;

Fill requisitions and work orders;

Maintain inventory records, count inventory and perform cycle counts;

Receive, store and issue equipment, material, supplies and tools;

Count, sort, or weigh incoming articles.

Record  defect information and write material discrepancy reports;

May deliver and pick up material at various locations using company vehicle or forklift. 


Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds in weight;

Holder of valid CA driver’s license and maintain clean driving record;

Must be forklift certified;

Good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills; 

Spanish speaker preferred;

Guitar player, a plus;

Astute time management, attention to detail, organizational, planning, effective multi-tasking, problem-solving, follow-through and exceptional customer service skills;

Ability to work effectively alone and within a team environment.   


$17.00 - $22.00 per hour DIE, for this full-time, non-exempt position.
