Sign Installer (Commercial) - Priority Architectural Graphics

Job Summary: 

Reporting to the Installation Manager, the Signage Installer will be responsible for the safe, efficient and high-quality installation of various types of finished signage, whether made in-house, or outsourced. 

Duties / Responsibilities: 

Ensure all client signs are installed in a correct and timely manner and to the exact specifications of the client job order;

Keep Installation Manager and Project Manager informed of any sign installation problems or delays;

Handle tools, equipment and materials safely and responsibly, ensuring proper maintenance and storage;

Work collaboratively with other team members to complete installations efficiently and to high-quality standards;

Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment  and comply with local, state, and federal safety regulations;

Communicate effectively with Project Managers, clients and team members, to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns. 

Operational Effectiveness: 

Collect prepared sign materials and accompanying job order(s) warehouse and load onto truck;

Travel to job site, unload materials;

Review floor plans, perform site surveys and assessments to plan installations and determine appropriate installation techniques; add any notes/adjustments into Wayfindit or Plangrid software and notify Project Manager and Installation Manager;

Call client contact to inform him/her the installation team is on site and ready to proceed with their product installation’

Following installation completion, clean up site, organize tools and any leftover sign materials for removal from the client job site;

Contact client to confirm completion of installation; confirm with Project Manager and Installation Manager;

Update tracking and communication platforms with installation photo documentation and end of day reports.

Qualifications: 

2 years of proven signage installation experience, with a strong understanding of installation processes for various types of signs;

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in signage installation or electrical work is preferred;

Astute organizational, time management, attention to detail, high level of accuracy and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment;

Exceptional oral and written communication and interpersonal skills;

Proficiency in the MS Office suite of products to include Teams;

Experience in, or ability to learn Wayfindit or Plangrid software;

Must be able to work efficiently alone and within a team environment. 

Compensation:

$64.01 per hour Journeyman Rate 

Working Hours:

6:00AM – 5:00PM Monday – Friday

Remote position – must live within a commutable distance to the San Francisco Bay Area
